We believe fashion design unites and empowers. In Dzaleka refugee camp, we create apparel to connect people, honor their stories, and build a sense of community.
-
Fashion design can be a powerful catalyst for social change, especially among refugee youth. By engaging in fashion design, refugee youth can express their identities, cultures, and stories, fostering a sense of belonging and empowerment.
-
By providing free training, we uplift the community, and by equipping individuals with tools after the training, we empower them to sustain themselves and their families.

What we Do
In the Dzaleka refugee camp, fashion design is a unifying force, connecting individuals and empowering the community. Through the creation of apparel, we aim to bridge cultural divides, celebrate the unique narratives of refugees, and foster a strong sense of solidarity and belonging. Our work in fashion design is not only about clothing but also about building relationships and promoting the inherent dignity of every individual.

We aim to:
While refugees face restrictions on their freedom of movement,. This camp has an estimated youth population of 30% who have no hope for a better tomorrow, These are the youths who spend their days playing games and roaming around with drug substances on excess.
Empower refugee youth artists by providing essential skills, training, and resources to enhance their artistic abilities in the fashion design world.
Promote the work of refugee youth artists and advocate for their recognition and integration into broader artistic communities.
Build a supportive community around refugee youth artists, fostering a sense of belonging and providing practical support.
Uplift the community by providing essential tools to individuals (artists) to build sustainable livelihoods and support their families.
See how widowed women and orphaned children are cherished by responding to their basic needs.
