Empowering Orphans and Vulnerable Children in Dowa Village
Kambake Village in Dowa district , a surrounding community, faces significant challenges in accessing education due to a lack of school supplies. We met with the village chief KAMBALE KAPITAO , who shared the struggles, saying: “It’s been tough getting school supplies here. We struggle to get even one book, and when a student gets one, they have to write all their lessons in it until they get another.” He appreciated our visit and welcomed us to return anytime, emphasizing that “we are all one – refugees and Malawians. Together, we can make a difference.” Recognizing education as a key to success, we hope for a brighter future for the children.
We distributed essential school supplies, including books, rulers, pens, pencils, bags, and toothbrushes, and also shared food and clothes. The village chief’s words resonated with us, and we’re committed to supporting their efforts.
We don’t have any sponsorship for now just with resources sharing and contributions we try our best to make the difference.
